Lion-Superman-Ticket-feature

This is a ticket from a Japanese company called Lion Hamigaki used in a contest drawing that was a marketing tie-in for the Adventures of Superman TV series in Japan. Lion, as the company is known today, was likely a sponsor of the show; the front shows a TV schedule to the left of a black and white photo of George Reeves as Superman flying.

This two-sided ticket is dated Showa 33 and Showa 34 (1958-1959) on the back and includes a list of prizes, including a top prize of 50,000 yen and a 14″ television set.
