This is a Superman mask made by an Italian company called Sarti and released in 1979. Sarti is the Italian equivalent of the American companies Collegeville or Ben Cooper. They made licensed masks and costumes for a variety of licenses including Marvel and DC superheroes, Jem, Masters of the Universe, even Japanese shows like Gatchaman and Captain Harlock. Here’s a link to an Italian collectible toy dealer with several masks for sale on his site.
The mask is very fragile vacuformed plastic, and it is attached to a header card featuring art that looks a lot like a tracing or redrawing of the work of José Luis García-López, but I’m not sure if he was doing licensing art as early at 1979.
That eye shadow will really bring the blue out in Superman’s eyes.
